Hoping for replacement, because I feel really uncomfortable about thought that they will open it up, try to fix the button and mess up whole water resistance and it will have other issues afterwards.

WebI previously owned 3 different Forerunner 945s. All of them had button issues - sticking/inconsistent double clicking etc. I ended up returning for a refund for this reason and purchased a Fenix 6 instead. Surprise surprise, button are similar to the the 945. Maybe not quite as bad, but certainly not good. Double click (sometimes) on up and start.
