WebDec 25, 2024 · Taking care of my Dad has been a full-time job and I don't want them to look back and resent me for not dedicating that time to them. He might as well be kinless at this point because I imagine putting him in some sort of home is inevitable in the next few weeks. Anyway that's my perspective. Feels a little better to vent it out. Late Gen X men in their 40s who are childless and aren't dating much younger will be childless seniors in 20 years. Your daughter is vulnerable for her elder/senior care.
